Reserved slots don't get blocked after booking

  • Issue description: Double-booking

  • Link to the page with the widget in question:

Love, love, love the appointment booking app! When I book a date and time for a service, it’s not disabled or made unavailable for the next visitor. This creates the potential for double-booking. Is there a way to make a booked time slot unavailable for the next visitor?

Hi there, @user25591 :waving_hand:

I am so sorry about this inconvenience!

I’ve forwarded the issue to the devs and will update you once it’s fixed :slightly_smiling_face:

In the meantime, you can connect the widget to your Google Calendar. With this integration enabled, the reserved slots will disappear from the widget - Syncing Google Calendar with the Appointment Booking Widget - Elfsight Help Center

Thank you, Max. Unfortunately, each service is provided by a different person, and not all of them have Google Calendars. If it were just me and my calendar, the integration would be great.

Hi @user25591 :waving_hand:

We’ve looked into the issue, and it appeared there was some miscommunication with the dev team. The reserved slots won’t disappear from the widget unless the Google Calendar is connected — this is expected behavior.

To block reserved slots, you’ll need to enable the Google Calendar integration. I apologize for any confusion this may have caused

Let me know if this clears things up or if you have any other questions. I’ll be happy to help!

Thank you.
