Sick! Looking forward to that!
Would that make sure none of the embed is loaded (no requests go out to Elfsight) before a user actually has it in their viewpoint?

Hi @Niels,
Yeah, and once a user commit some interaction with a page as well.
We use both strategies concurrently.
The sandbox site seems to be not quite alive this moment (responds with 500). Could you please bring it back so we can test the performance?
Hi, has any more progress been made on this topic? The loading time of the widget really is a problem. (I am the original poster of the request.) Thanks!
Hi @Jaytee,
Well, I believe yeah we made some progress. However, if youāre still experiencing the same problem it means what we did is not enough. Can I ask you to share your website url to me (here or in private)?
Hi Vladimir, the widget does appear to not be an issue anymore, in Page Speed Insights I no longer see a reference to it slowing things down. Thanks so much!
Hi @Jaytee,
Iām so happy to know that the issue is resolved for you. Glad to be of service.
Your feedback, patience and trust help us getting better
Hi Ivanenko, I believe our site is still live. Plus it still loads the reviews. For me the problem is still the same as before. It actually does do any lazy load in my case
Hi @Niels, sorry for the late reply!
As far as I know, our devs (including our Software Wizard Ivanenko) are on the verge of releasing the fix to cover your use case as well
Weāll keep you posted here
Any updates on the matter? Would love if it can become more light weight.
Second question: what if I just want to pull in my latest google reviews for the schema markup, any ways to do this? I guess you would not be willing to share that code, but would really appreciate it! Worth a try
Cheers,
Niels
@Niels my apologies for the radio silence here!
Please donāt think that your question faded into oblivion, but Iām afraid we havenāt come up with a solution as of yet in view of the complexity of your use case. But weāll definitely update you as soon as we have any thoughts in this regard.
As for your second question, Iām afraid we donāt give an option to create a schema markup separately from the widget.
Friends, I guess we finally can close this request and mark it as āReleasedā
Weāve applied lots of improvements and optimized the widget big time, so now it should not give you any trouble. However, if anythingās still wrong on your end, feel free to let us know here
