Minimize button like in Audio Player

  • The current Podcast-Player is somewhat unintuitive to shrink or expand, as this is done solely through the playlist icon.
  • The Audio-Player is able to shrink to a tiny version at the very bottom of the screen. This would be really helpful for the Podcast-Player too! Especially if accompanied by arrow icons.
  • The Audio-Player uses arrows to indicate that it can be expanded or shrunk.
  • The Audio-Player has a “skip track” fast-forward feature. Currently the podcast player only has the “15-second skip.” It would be awesome to quickly able to fast forward through a whole episode.

I agree that it would be great for the Podcast Player to have a Minimize button like in our Audio Player app. Let’s see if other users feel the same way

As for the faster skip options, I’ve added this idea as a separate request - Faster skip option (skip the whole episode)

I’d love this too. Someone might not be ready to play on the first page they visit and close it but by the second or third page - or just a few minutes dwell time - they might be inclined to play the podcast - so a minimise option so it’s always on screen and could play throughout their visit or be reopened would be great.
