Right now, if we do not write the event date in the text description of our event, it does not show anywhere on the front end. We enter the start and end date in the event details, but this is only used for sorting? Is there a way to make it visible if we are grouping events by month? Some of our events run multiple days and if we group by day, it only lists the first day of the event.

To display the date in the event cards, you should check off the Date element in the Event Elements section on the Layout tab:
