I wish for a lyrics player that displays the song’s words in real-time, synced perfectly with the music. This would make it easier to follow along and fully enjoy every track.

New information for this request:
To make implementation easier, the widget can use an external service such as the Genius Lyrics API.
Additional APIs can also be integrated, for example:

  • Musixmatch API – provides licensed lyrics and translations

  • AudD API – offers song recognition and lyrics

  • ChartLyrics API – simple, freely available lyrics database

This way, the widget can pull lyrics from multiple sources, ensuring more complete and accurate results, and automatically fall back to the next API if one source is missing or incomplete. :slight_smile:

I’ve found a great solution for this request: each song should have its own button, and when clicked, it opens a frame displaying the lyrics. The API lyrics.ovh is perfect for this widget — it’s very easy to use and completely safe. I highly recommend integrating this API! :smiley:
