Want to automate your form submissions? This article will walk you through how to integrate your Elfsight Form Builder widget with Zapier, allowing you to send data directly to your preferred apps
It’s all about saving time and making your life easier — let’s dive right in!
1. Get Connection Token and Log In to Zapier
Generate the Zapier connection token
Open the Integrations tab and select Zapier:
Click Connect to Zapier:
Copy the token from the Zapier Connection Token field and save it somewhere easily accessible (eg, a Notes or WordPad app). You’ll need it when setting up the integration on the Zapier side. Then, click on the Go to Zapier button:
Log in to you Zapier account
You’ll be redirected to the Elfsight Zapier integration page. Scroll down to the Supported triggers and actions section and click on the New Form Submission trigger:
If you don’t have a Zapier account, sign up or log in via the button in the top right corner:
2. Set Up the Zap Trigger
Configure the trigger settings
After logging in, you’ll be redirected to the zap editor, where the New Form Submission trigger will be pre-selected.
Find the Account field and click it to connect your Elfsight account:
In the popup window, paste your token into the API Token field and click Yes, Continue to Elfsight:
Each Form Builder widget generates a unique token. Ensure you’re using the correct token for your Zap to avoid any issues.
Test the Zap trigger
Now, test the trigger by clicking Continue:
Click on the Trigger Test button:
Your form submissions will be pulled. Click Continue with selected record:
3. Set Up the Zap Action
Select the Zap’s action app
In the popup window, select an app to connect the Form Builder to via Zapier:
In this example, we’ll add customer emails and names to Google Contacts:
Configure the action settings
The steps depend on the app you choose. In our example, you’ll need to choose an Action Event (what will happen in the app) and connect your Account. Once you’re ready, click Continue:
Map the Elfsight Email and Name fields to the corresponding fields in Google Contacts. Click Continue when ready:
Test the Zap action
To get started, click Test Step:
Great! The test has passed, and a new contact with the correct details has been added to your Google Contacts:
Activate the Zap
Since everything is working as expected, click the Publish button to activate your zap:
Your zap is now live!
4. Publish the Changes in the Widget
Once you’ve finished setting up the connection, don’t forget to Publish your widget changes to enable the Zapier integration on the live widget:
And that’s it! You’ve successfully connected your Elfsight Form Builder to the chosen app via Zapier ![]()
