Forms: Send emails from a custom domain! 🚀

You were eagerly waiting for this feature, and it’s finally here! We’re thrilled to introduce the opportunity to send email notifications in our Forms from a custom domain :rocket:

To enable this feature, please follow these steps:

Go to the Email Sender Settings on the Email tab

Click Add Email Sender

Enter your SMTP server details

All emails from the forms, including the Autoresponder, will be sent through this server:

After entering the details, the system will automatically check the connection. If the check is successful, the settings will be saved.

Voila! Emails will now be sent through your personal SMTP server :slightly_smiling_face:

Guys, have you tested the new feature? Share your experience in the comments - we’d love to hear from you

Hi everyone,
I tested it with SSL port 465. It works perfectly. A milestone! Great! :raising_hands:

I tested it right away and it works perfectly, I’m really happy with it!
Is it also possible to include the first name of the person who filled out the form in the automatic email? I’m unfortunately not able to get that working right now.

Hi @user8320
This has always worked and actually has nothing to do with the new feature. But make sure you use the correct field ID for the text field.

Hi @Richard_Bee

Thanks a bunch for the feedback! Currently, we don’t have any specific plans for adding this feature to the Appointment Booking app.

However, we agree that it would be an awesome enhancement and I’ve added this idea to the Wishlist - Send notification from a custom domain

If this idea gets more votes, we’ll try to consider it in the future :slightly_smiling_face:

Thank you, it makes sense since it is available in forms. Hopefully it should be a similar implementation for your team.

A post was merged into an existing topic: Send notification from a custom domain

Hi! How can I add a e-mail sender to the calculator? And I also want to make integration with SendLayer API for sending. Possible?

Hi @Tom_van_der_Wal welcome to community

This isn’t possible for the calculator.
A request on the Wishlist would have to be created for this.

Ok, is the SendLayer API integration already possible for the forms?

Hi @Tom_van_der_Wal and welcome to the Community

The SendLayer integration isn’t available in our Forms, unfortunately. I’ve this idea and suggestion for the Calculator to the Wishlist on your behalf:

If they get more votes, we’ll try to consider them in the future :slightly_smiling_face:
