Fill in all fields in the Event Calendar markup, so that it can show the rich snippet
Would be great to just have this data all in the event calendar. Surprised why it hasn’t been completed during development. Most User have no idea about this data but it helps a lot for free SEO of events at different places.

I absolutely agree with your point and I’m very sorry that our widget doesn’t support this feature. We see this option might be very useful for our users, so we’ll try our best to consider displaying rich snippet for our app.
We promise to keep you informed about any progress here ![]()
Yes, highly anticipated feature here as well! Such a low-hanging fruit and strong selling point of your calendar. It would be great for us users, for whom SEO is important

Hi!
I took a look at my google search consol and it was providing this error of a missing field of “eventAttendanceMode” I was wondering if this could be added or if I need to do something to add it already.
Hi there, @Val ![]()
Unfortunately, there is no opportunity to fix the issue with this missing field. I’m really sorry!
However, it’s important to note that this schema field is optional and not deemed essential by Google or other validators. So, incorporating these specifics into the schema won’t bring any significant impact on the widget’s performance.
Anyway, it would be awesome to adjust this minor issue, and we already have a request for this on the Wishlist. I’ve moved your comment to a thread, where we’ll keep you in the loop ![]()
Why isn’t this just included in the calendar app/widget as default? Having to vote for something that should be included, forces this to take a backseat to everything else. Please consider this - It’s almost like asking people to vote in order to fix something you’ve already released.

A huge thank you for your feedback!
Just in case, I’d like to mention that all required fields are filled in Event Calendar markup. Only optional fields like " eventAttendanceMode" are not being filled, and they are not considered essential by Google or other validators.
However, I completely get your point and agree that it would be amazing to fill all fields including optional.
I’ll update you here right away if any news comes up ![]()
Have there been any updates since October I’m receiving the following errors
Will this impact my SEO and SERP Rank?
Hi @SC_Wake ![]()
Unfortunately, we haven’t got any news yet. If anything comes up, we’ll promptly update in this thread ![]()
As for the SEO impact, all required fields are filled in Event Calendar markup. The missing fields from your screenshot are optional, and they are not considered essential by Google or other validators. So, it won’t affect the SEO rank.
I just received a notice from Google Search, that there are some structured data missing from the events that I display on my web site:
To the owner of slowfoodretz.at:
Search Console has identified that your site is affected by 6 Events structured data issue(s). The following issues were found on your site.
Top non-critical issues‡
Missing field “organizer”
Missing field “eventAttendanceMode”
Missing field “offers”
Missing field “eventStatus”
Missing field “performer”
Here is the page with the calendar widget: Slow Wine Retz und Umgebung
Hi there, @user1921 and welcome to the Community ![]()
The fields you mentioned are optional and aren’t considered essential by Google or other validators. So even if they were included in the schema, they wouldn’t have a significant impact on performance.
However, we agree that it would be awesome to fill these optional fields too, and we have a Wishlist request for this. I’ve moved your comment to the related discussion, where we’ll keep you in the loop ![]()
I received an email from Google with the text again: The “name” field is missing (in location)
How did you fix this problem in the simplest way, if you have a website in Worpress? Thank you.
Hi there, @Tender_S ![]()
The missing Name field is optional and not considered essential by Google. So, it won’t affect the SEO rank.
However, we agree that it would be great to fill all fields, and this idea is already on the Wishlist. I’ve moved your comment to the related thread, where we’ll keep you updated ![]()

Event Schema.org is not detected by the search console. It is a pitty, I exactly purchased a biger version of Elfsight and spend time for my calendar because i really need to have this Event Schema.org on my website
Hi there and welcome to the Community, @user20232 ![]()
As my colleague Ira mentioned in your support ticket, the markup is enabled in the widget by default. However, unfortunately, the event snippet won’t show up in the SERP
since the markup is not fully completed.
Hopefully this idea will be considered in the future, and we’ll make sure to update you here in case of any changes ![]()
