- Issue description:
I get emailed Google Alerts based on keywords that I use. Can I set up a widget that will display articles in the format like I can with Instagram? - Link to the page with the widget in question:
Hi there @user13716
Interesting idea, thanks for sharing!
It would be great if you could share more details on how you envision this app.
Should users be able to select the sources from which to pull articles? If so, which sources are most important? How frequently do you want this feed to be updated? Are there any additional settings that are essential for you?
I envision being able to add a search string, for example; new golf ball, and anytime a story is published with that phrase, the story appears in my feed as does any Instagram story I “follow.”
Users could choose from a number of different sources or simply Google and then chose to add/include or reject the story when it appears pre-feed. It’s a fairly low-maintenance proposition. I presently use Google Alerts and when a hit occurs, I get an email with a link to that story. Presently, I alert on topics that are important to my business and brand, and use the info, selectively, to share. It’s also similar to an RSS except IMHO more precise/targetted, due to the keywords.

Got it, thank you!
We can’t promise that such an app will be released. However, if this request gains more votes, we’ll try to consider it in the future updates
