It’s not ideal to create a widget request based on how many votes it gets by it’s registered users alone. Smash Balloon researched people’s need for a Facebook Events widget through search analytics such as how often it’s asked for on Google.
We’d love to keep all our website widget needs in one portal like Elfsight, but are unfortunately forced to outsource to other companies that provide the same essential widgets, plus more.
Please reconsider creating a Facebook Events widget.

We totally understand the excitement to see new features, and we wish we could release them faster. However, with the large number of requests on the Wishlist, it’s a bit of a challenge to prioritize them all.
Just to clarify, it’s not only the number of votes that counts, but also the complexity of implementation. Our developers are also keeping an eye on current trends, and we see that this feature is in demand both within our Community and across the web. However, there are still a lot of high-priority requests ahead of it, so the dev team is focused on those right now.
Please know this idea hasn’t been forgotten, and I’ve shared your feedback with the dev team. Hopefully, they’ll be able to consider it, and we’ll be sure to keep you updated here.
