Eliminate the Excess Space Between Elements in Flipbooks

We’d like the Elfsight FlipBook Team to remove all the excess space between the Flipbook’s specified left/right margins, eliminate the excess top and bottom space, and vertical space between the heading, flipbook, and navigation elements as well. This particularly evident in Mobile Viewports—objectionably so.

I agree - the space is much too big.

I would appreciate the CSS codes to change this, if possible.

Hi @Nepal

Since the flipbook is placed in an iframe, unfortunately, it’s impossible to remove this spacing even with the help of the CSS code :pensive:

If the devs find a solution, we’ll share it here right away!

How to remove the useless paddings and margins around the PDF element? By default the paddings are too large and on mobile it just looks terrible. Please share CSS to overrife paddings and margings before and after Flipbook element.

Welcome to the Community, @Agris_Locs-Darznieks :waving_hand:

Unfortunately, it’s impossible to remove this spacing because the flipbook is placed in iframe.

However, I completely understand your point, agree that it would be great to achieve this. We already have this idea on the Wishlist, and I’ve added your comment there too.

If any news comes up, we’ll promptly update you here :slightly_smiling_face:

And yet, you have other widgets which do not have this problem. It seems like your engineers should be able to solve this…

Hello everyone, and thank you for the Flipbook widget – it’s a great tool!

I’ve successfully embedded it into my homepage, but I’m having an issue with the layout. The gray wrapper around the Flipbook is way too tall and too wide, making the section look oversized on the page.

Is there a way to reduce the height and width of the wrapper so that it fits more neatly and doesn’t take up so much space?

I’ve already tried adjusting the outer container, but it seems the internal wrapper generated by Elfsight controls the dimensions.

Any advice or custom CSS I can apply directly in the widget settings would be very helpful!

Thanks in advance.

Best regards,

Sidi

The thing is that the Flipbook widget has its own peculiarities and is placed in iframe, unlike other widgets

However, we’re hopeful the devs will be able to consider this idea and find a solution to remove this spacing :slightly_smiling_face:

Hi there, @user3524 and welcome to the Community :waving_hand:

Many thanks for sharing your thoughts!

Unfortunately, it’s impossible to reduce the spacing around the flipbook, since it’s a part of iframe.

However, this idea is already on the Wishlist, and I’ve merged your comment with it. If this request gets more votes, we’ll try to consider it in the future updates :slightly_smiling_face:

Adding my vote to find a way to reduce all the margins…

Hi everyone, does anyone know how can I remove the gap between my flipbook pdf view and the bottom menu on my bottom menu on mobile? It looks good on desktop but it adds a lot of padding on mobile.

Thank you in advance!
