Would be great to have a date picker either to select a single date or a from-through range like for a hotel stay.

I guess our Appointment Booking app might be the right option for you. Right now, it allows you to book only specific hours, but we have a request on the Wishlist to book days.
Feel free to upvote this idea if you’d like to see it released - An option to book day rather than hours.
