Customize email notification sender name/address

Everything is delivered by “Elfsight Courier,” please let us customize at least the name, if not a full-on SMTP integration to use our own address for delivery. “Elfsight Courier” confuses people in our organization to whom the contact forms are addressed.

Even a more generic name like “Online Contact Form” would be much better.

“Elfsight Courier” is bad and confusing. Plus it is not my language. I would like this to be at least configurable to a verifiable email adress and name. Would elfsight themself as a customer of their own service appriciate this beeing sent to their users with something that says “Unknown Courier”? With a “WTF? Even more SPAM…” as the most likely to be awaited user reaction? This needs be be personalized! I understand the need for this while developing but now this needs to be changed ASAP since we pay for that to spread out our (customer’s) names, not elfsight’s. Thank you for hearing us

I agree, and I prefer use my custom paid mail servers,

only wanted: sender email, custom api user and custom api password required for many providers,

for private mail servers some dns changes and PTR records but can do it manually in many cases from hosting control panel.

I believe than Elfsight courier could be a big problem for newer clients than put on spam directly without do questions, and more bigger problem, this lost email could be important for start relationship with new client or maybe loss trust of working clients.

Phising is a big problem for companies and this don’t help on client’s trust, and maybe they can accept a real phising email for this confusion…

this new “notifications” doesnt fix our problem! We want the clients name to show as if they sent the email directly from their email account.

We’ve changed the “Elfsight Courier” name to “Notifications” to avoid confusion and added an option to change the subject if needed. This is where you will find it:

1. Go to your widget’s Mail tab
2. Find Subject field and change it if needed
