let the customer select the time duration (from X hm to Y hm) and confirm/integrate availability with Google (and other) calendars

Glad to say that the Google Calendar integration is already available in the app. You can set it up on the Integrations tab:
As for the duration selection, I like this idea. Could you just describe your use case, so that we could better understand the benefits of this feature for you?
