Creating a before / after slider widget for vertical (portrait) orientation photos

  • Issue description:
I’ve successfully created a before/after slider widget using horizontal (landscape orientation) images in a 4:3 aspect ratio. Works great, showing the entire image.

When I try to create a before/after slider widget in vertical (portrait orientation) images in a 4:3 aspect ratio, the images are cut off so that the entire vertical image doesn’t show.

Is there a way to format the before/after slider to accommodate vertical (portrait) orientation images?

This link is to the successful horizontal image widget.

Thanks for the help.

Hey @Rad_Drew_Photography, happy to see you in our Community, welcome!

The issue with image cropping might occur if you’re using vertical images and selecting a horizontal Image Ratio, or vice versa.

To avoid this, when uploading vertical images, make sure to select an Image Ratio with the “(Vertical)” label in the settings:

For horizontal images, you can choose any of the other Image Ratio options.

If I misunderstood your question or if you were referring to something else, could you please create a widget with the images you’d like to display and share the widget name with me? That way, I can check everything for you and assist further

Thank you, Rena!
