We already have a request for the Sorting by date option. Feel free to upvote it: Sorting by date. Just to confirm, would you like to add this option just for internal use or do you mean to your website visitors sort posts?

Pagination shows up when you have more than 16 posts in your blog. Would you like to have an option to display fewer posts per page?
