Being able to press the date to add an event on month mode

It makes it easier do I dont have to scroll through years, months, and days.

You’d like to click on the date in the calendar with the events and add new events from it instead of using this dropdown calendar, right?

If it is, both calendars have the same view and to reach the next months you still need to skip the days, months. Could you please elaborate on your suggestion?
