We’ve been thinking about how to make it easier to find useful insights in long lists of reviews inside the Reviews widget, and wanted to share an idea with you.
What we’re thinking
Right now, important and detailed feedback often gets lost when there are many reviews to go through.
Instead of manually pinning reviews, we’re exploring ways to automatically feature the most helpful and detailed reviews, so that users could understand key takeaways faster.
Why this might help:
business owners don’t need to manually pin or manage the best reviews
users can more easily scan and compare feedback in long review lists
it helps users focus on the most relevant and insightful feedback faster
How it could work
We’re still exploring different approaches here for the automatic review featuring, but some possible directions could include:

identifying more detailed and insightful reviews automatically

using different signals (such as detail, experience, or recency) to understand review quality

making it easier to highlight strong feedback without manual setup
This is still an early idea, and the final approach may differ depending on what turns out to be most useful.
