Adding standard options to accessibility widget

Hello, we added code for your ADA menu to our GoDaddy site. It was easy enough and looks good, only we upgraded thinking more options would be available to customize widget but that does not seem to be the case. Is there any way to add options for blindness (audio screen reader), text size (increase/decrease), highlight links, and reverse (dark)contrast? Thank you! our site is gmssvt.org

Hi Max, we just upgraded so that we would have more options with the accessibility widget but I’m not seeing where to customize or add options to our menu. Most other ADA sites offer visitors to select larger/smaller text, or black out/reverse text, and other accessibility options. Do you know if it is possible to add these options to the basic accessibility template? Thank you!

Hi @user25627, happy to see you in the community, welcome! :waving_hand:t2:

I’m afraid, there is no option to adjust the default options at the moment, but this is a great idea. I’ve added it to our Wishlist so that we can consider it in our future updates: Ability to further customize ada options

Let me know if you have any other questions!

ok, thank you Helga. Are there any separate widgets for us to add so that visually impaired visitors can have text read to them? or are there additional templates we can purchase for more options, such as high contrast and other common ADA options? I was thinking this would be the case when we upgraded as we do need at least these two options. Thanks again!

I’m afraid our Accessibility is now the only ADA option to use, I’m very sorry

What I can tell for sure is that we’re going to enhance this widget with new features, but, unfortunately, we don’t develop extra features by request. I really hope the options you need will be added in one of the future updates :folded_hands:t2:
