I would like an option to display sponsors somewhere on the page, maybe as a link or a search option.

I guess our Logo Showcase app might be an option for you. Here you can add logos of your sponsors and links to their pages.
Please check it out and let me know if it worked for your case 
Thank you, but my budget is extremely limited, I would love to have it integrated within the app I am using.

If I were to utilize the Logo Showcase would it be linked to the event calendar since that is where I need to add logos for sponsors?

Ah, you wanted this feature for the Event Calendar, got it!
This feature isn’t supported in our app, but we have this idea on the Wishlist. You can upvote it here - Option to put sponsors name/banner/address
As a workaround, you can add a sponsor logo to the Description field. For this, please open the Code Editor mode in the Description field and add this code there: <img src="Logo_Link"> :
Do not forget to replace Logo_Link with the link to your logo (it should be hosted somewhere)
