So Basicaly You Can Add A Widget That Opens Up A Proxy To A Specific Site That You Put Or HTML Embed Code And A Option To Set It As Just A Proxy To Certain Sites That You Add So For example…
The Person Sets It To: google.com
RESULT: Shows Google.com That You Can Interact With
For Say
The Person Sets It To google and youtube
RESULT: The Person Now Has Access To Google And Youtube. Now I Would Want It So Either You Can Set It To A Specific Site Or Any Site That Contains Something. Make Sure To Not Use Another Website To Do The Searching Unless You Just Have An API Downloaded. And Make Sure That It Can Also Be Used On Chromebooks To If You Have To Download Any Files. Trust Me. Alot Of People would Use This
Thanks for sharing the idea. Just to clarify, this would basically be a widget that opens external websites (like Google or YouTube) inside a popup on your site and lets visitors use them there.
At the moment, this isn’t something we can inplement. Most big websites intentionally block being shown inside other sites (security policies like CSP and X-Frame-Options), and building a proxy layer to work around that would create major security, privacy, and compliance concerns.
It also doesn’t really match the concept of Elfsight widgets, which are designed to add your own content and approved integrations, not to display third-party websites inside a widget.
I hope this explains things.
