Our league plays golf every Wednesday at different venues. We have different facilitators that are responsible to setup each event. We assume everyone is playing to arrange the pairings until they tell us they can’t play. Thus, I first created the Removal Form where they can tell us, in advance, which dates they are not playing. You can see that though this form: Schedule
Now I’d like to create a calendar right under the Removal Form, sort of like Dance Studio Schedule, where I can place the names of each member on the date he can’t play so that all the facilitators can see at a glance who’s not playing.
So, with Dance Studio Schedule, I like the idea of the scrolling months at the top so that only the month we’re on would be showing, but they can click through the other months to see who’s not playing. But instead of a whole 30 day calendar, since we only play on Wednesdays, I’d like to have only four or five days for that month where instead of the day of the month, I can put the date and golf course as the heading, and simply place the members names in that slot. I created a sample right under the form.
So, how can I manipulate the Dance Studio Schedule to create this? Thanks for your help.
OK, I guess I need more direction. I went to the Form Builder and chose a Blank Document. I put a Drop Down (Monthly Removal) in that would show the Months. If they clicked on a Month, what would happen? How can I get each Month so it would move to the section where the Members not playing would be? Do you have a Pay for Help program where you could help me figure this out? It would be a great way for my facilitators to know who’s not playing.
You can filter events by months in Event Calendar. However, unfortunately, there is no option to customize Event Calendar widget the way you’ve described in your previous message. So, I am afraid, at the moment, there isn’t any other alternative. I am so sorry!
Your use case is really unusual and interesting. A huge thank you for sharing it with us!
We’ll try to consider your idea in our future updates.
Hi Max, and thank you for your help. Though I would loved to have had the clean look of a manipulated calendar, I did figure out a way to make it work for now. Schedule
