For those who don’t know me yet:

Once, I had a dream to cross the Alps on horseback, following the route of Hannibal. However, today I find myself crossing the Alps with my sighthounds at least twice a year, usually in “Old Sweden,” heading to Switzerland or Italy to conduct specialized training for sighthounds.

When I’m not traveling, you’ll find me in Hamburg, where all my attention is focused on your sighthounds. Since the 1980s, I’ve been passionately dedicated to these majestic dogs, and for more than two decades, I’ve been working as a specialized dog trainer for sighthounds and Mediterranean breeds. Since 2014, I’ve held the official permission under §11 of the German Animal Protection Act to provide training, particularly for sighthounds and Mediterranean breeds, including the education of their owners, of course.

As someone who values freedom, I find that I’m perfectly matched with sighthounds. Freedom has always been a high priority for me, but that also includes being constantly alert and curious. I love moving things forward, looking beyond the horizon, and continuously educating myself. A life of stagnation? That was never an option for me.

In these times of the COVID-19 pandemic, humanity is going through a major upheaval. Now is the time to leave old paths behind and embark on new journeys. Authenticity and creative ideas are more important than ever. As this current unreality transforms into a new reality, I’ll definitely be part of it, eagerly awaiting what the future holds.

Since January 1, 2000, I have been the proud owner of my own dog school, specialized in sighthounds and Podencos. This means I can look back on more than two decades of experience and knowledge, constantly expanded through a wide range of training and further education. But it’s not just formal education that matters: it’s the numerous encounters with sighthound-human teams that make my work so unique. Every training session, every workshop, and every seminar has not only broadened my horizons but also allowed me to positively impact the lives of sighthounds and their owners. This way, I stay in tune with the times and am always ready for the next challenges.
