I have a tiny business that used to have a simple but effective Google Business Site. Although, of course, they do no evil, with minimal notice those fine chaps at Google removed the free Google Business Sites in March (and then the temporary redirect of the old hyperlink to Google Business Profiles in June). In February I had created a slightly more sophisticated site using Google’s other free platform and realised how useful widgets could be to replicate features that I used to take for granted.
