Hi there, @Marc_de_Jong ![]()
I’ve checked your website using Safari on iPhone and the widget is displayed there:
If the widget didn’t show up on your end, please try to check it in Safari incognito mode. If the issue still persists there, please specify:
the exact model of your iPhone and iOS version
the exact model of your MacBook and MacOS version
Not loading, same in safari Macbook. Only the top part… (google review block, the rest not). It worked always but since 4 days not. And only in Safari; other browsers it works.
Iphone air / latest safari
Ps. Can’t upload a picture here?
Thanks! Could you please also take a screenshot of the dev console in the Safari browser on your Macbook?
This could help us understand what causes the issue.
Thank you for sharing screenshots of the issue! However, I was referring to the screenshot of the Dev Console. This article explains how you can take it - How to take a screenshot of the Developer Console - Elfsight Help Center.
Could you please send it?
No its not loading 9 out of 10 times.
Its a loading issue Mac and iPhone.
We checked your website on an iPhone Air (latest Safari) and couldn’t replicate the issue on our end.
Just to clarify, were the screenshots you shared taken in Safari’s incognito mode? If not, could you try the following?
Check your website in incognito mode and let me know if the widget shows up there
Switch your internet connection
If you’ve already done both of these and the issue persists, could you take a screenshot of the dev console when the widget isn’t showing on the website?
Since the widget shows in your screenshot, there aren’t any widget-related errors in the console, which makes it hard to guess the reason. That’s why we’d need the console screenshot when the issue happens.
Got it, thanks!
Most likely the issue is cased by the browser extensions, adblockers or VPNs. Please try to disable all of the mentioned tools (if you use them) and let me know if it helped ![]()
No, I dont have VPN add blockers etc on my iphone
If the widget is working fine in incognito mode on Macbook, but not in the regular browser, please try to disable browser extensions, adblockers or VPNs (if they are used on your computer).
Regarding the iPhone, please try to clear cache on your device and let me know if it helped ![]()
No the last screenshot is NOT incognito. I already cleared the case, there is no VPN, etc.
It worked always, but for some reason not anymore. So again, it has nothing to do with my Mac or iPhone.
I’m not sure if this helps or just puts mud in the water, but I just tried it on Firefox and Safari on Mac. At first I thought I had duplicated the problem, but then eventually the widget loaded. It took literally 10+ seconds to load the widget
. So perhaps it’s a caching or loading issue? At first glance, I definitely would have said it didn’t load.
I’m in the US if that is relevant.
Hi there and welcome to the Community, @JMK-PPR ![]()
Thank you so much for the feedback!
Just to clarify, did you check the website shared by Mark or you’re experiencing a similar issue on your website?
I’m sorry. I meant that I checked Mark’s website.
Ah, I see! This behaviour occurs because of the iframe, where the widget is placed
