# Website Translator: Issue with redundant lang attribute updates fixed

We’ve fixed the issue in the [Website Translator](https://elfsight.com/website-translator-widget/) app, where the `lang` attribute in the HTML was being updated unnecessarily on every page translation.

Now, the `lang` value is set only once and is synced with the selected language 🛠
