# Toggle Search Bar between 'Location' and 'Name'

I have multiple businesses on my Google Maps in different locations so it would be great if a user can toggle between the ‘Location’ and ‘Name’ to give them the option if they’re looking for businesses in a particular location or specific businesses.

The search by business name also works, but you don’t like that a blue point appears instead of the red marker, am I right?

Hi Max, what I mean is that users can’t choose to search for either name or location. It must be set prior to embedding into my site.

Just to clear things up: you’d like to have map, where you don’t need to add the locations in the settings and users should search locations globally, but not from the list, right?

No, Max.

You can only type a location in the search field as that is what I set up in the App before publishing. Search by Location.

I can’t type a name in to find a business unless I select Search by Name.

I can only search by one, or the other, not both unless there is a toggle switch between the Search by Location and Search by Name, which this App doesn’t have.

Hope that makes sense.

Ah, got it, sorry for misunderstanding!

This is a nice idea, and we’ll try to consider it in the future, especially if more users upvote it 🙂
