# Support Google Events structured data

It would be awesome if the event calendar generated the structured data needed by Google for making events automatically part of their search results. I believe all the data needed is already in place, so it may only require generating some additional code to capture this format.

Glad to say that the Schema markup is built in our Event Calendar app. If you check your website using [the rich results test](https://search.google.com/test/rich-results), you’ll see that all the required fields are filled:
Only optional fields are not being filled, and they are not considered essential by Google or other validators. However, we agree that it would be great to fill all fields in the markup, and this idea is already on the Wishlist.
