Friends, we’ve got some exciting news for the Store Locator app! ![]()
The latest update brings a set of highly requested features that make your widget more flexible, interactive, and easier for visitors to explore.
What’s inside the update?
Custom markers for each location
You can now add custom markers for each location individually!
-
A new Marker control appears on the Location Edit page.
-
The marker management page includes a collection of custom markers, with one default marker that cannot be removed.
-
If any location uses a custom marker, the list of locations in the configurator will display the corresponding marker icons, making it easy to see which pins are customized.
Multiple images for a single location
You can now upload additional photos for each location!
- When a location has multiple images, a counter icon appears in the location list.
- Images in the location popup are now clickable, opening a lightbox to browse all pictures.
This makes locations feel more engaging and gives visitors a better sense of the place ![]()
Add locations manually
Previously, you could only add locations available on Google Maps, and details were automatically pulled from Google.
Now you can also add locations manually, which is especially useful for businesses not listed on Google or for online locations:
Alphabetical sorting
The new Locations Order option on the Settings tab lets you control how locations are displayed in the widget:
- Custom order — manually arrange locations with drag & drop.
- By Location Name — automatically sorts locations alphabetically.
Alphabetical sorting makes it easier for both widget owners and visitors to quickly find the location they’re looking for.
Select location position on the map
We’ve added the Map Location setting, letting you control each pin individually:
- Auto — pin is positioned based on the address.
- Coordinates — set a custom latitude and longitude.
- Hidden — location is not displayed on the map.
This gives you full control over how each location appears visually.
