Hi, would you be able to make a Spotify player to automatically pause when you scroll out of view or click on play on a YouTube video on the same page? Hello everyone! 👋🏻 We’ve done some research on the possibility of implementing the Spotify Player widget, and it seems we need to discuss our further steps with you here. Unfortunately, Spotify has quite strict limitations when it comes to music playback. Currently, it only allows streaming a 30-second preview of a song on external sites. To listen to the full track, users need to be on Spotify itself. The situation is a bit better with podcasts, though, as they can be played in full (as far as we see it now). Given this, we’re wondering if this type of player would still be of interest to you, or if we should hold off on development for now until there are more options for integrating full music playback from Spotify on websites.
