# Slider: Enjoy enhanced video functionality

The video functionality in our [Slider](https://elfsight.com/slider-widget/) app has been improved 👋

Previously, when adding a video link to the widget, it took time to fetch it. Each time the slide was switched, the widget would reload the video, which negatively impacted user experience:

Now the video is loaded only once, and if the slide is not active, the video pauses:
