Folks, we’ve updated how reviews open in [Reviews](https://elfsight.com/widgets/?category=reviews) widgets to make the experience clearer, smoother, and more consistent for your visitors 🚀

## **What’s inside the update?**

* * *

> **Reviews Popup in Badge layouts**
>
> Previously, reviews opened in a **Side Pane** when clicking on badges:
>
> ![image](https://us1.discourse-cdn.com/flex020/uploads/elfsight/original/3X/8/d/8df9d7aa78d5bed043d6dc1c94bc1c582609b5dc.png)
>
> Now, badges open the **Reviews Popup** instead. This helps visitors view your reviews in a more focused and easy-to-browse format:

> **Single review opening**
>
> Before, clicking the **Read More** button either expanded the review text inside the card or opened a popup with just that review:
>

>
> Now, visitors are taken to the **Reviews Popup** , where they can see the full reviews list and land right on the review they selected. This creates a smoother path from one review to the rest of your customer feedback:

>
>
>
> **Note:** This feature is only available in widgets created after this release. If you’d like to use a new Reviews Popup feature in your widget, drop us a line in the comments. We’ll be happy to help 🙂
