# Reviews: Customize your widget further with Custom JS

We are beyond thrilled to announce that the Custom JS option has been added to our [Reviews](https://elfsight.com/widgets/?category=reviews) apps 🔥

With the Custom JS option, you can add extra features to the widget by writing your own script. You don’t need to reach out to our devs, as you have the freedom to customize it yourself.

> **Important:** Custom JS operates only upon widget installation, but not in preview mode.

You can find this option at the bottom of the Settings tab:

Custom JS Editor has a Validate button, which allows you to check the code validity.

  

**Reminder** : the code entered is the body of the function that will be executed when the widget loads on the page. Do not include any `<script>` tags.

don;t have a use case but just wanted to explore possibilities. currently i m trying to filter reviews by occurrence of a word or phrase within the reviews. Its not happening by native filter.

@Max one more thing please. I’d like to have the carousel slides move automatically. Currently it works only when we click on the arrow buttons. Is that possible with custom js? thank you.

@user3856 Sure, you just need to enable Autorotation option by following these steps:

As for the Keyword filter, I have to say that our widget displays only 100 latest reviews. If the review with the word Geburtstag is among the 100 latest reviews and it’s not displayed, please send me a screenshot of this review.

Hi @Max ok that explains it, thank you. Is there anyway we can increase this limit?

@user3856 At the moment, unfortunately, there is no option to increase the number of reviews displayed. I am so sorry!

We have a similar request in our Wishlist. You can vote for [this feature](https://community.elfsight.com/t/filter-before-limiting-to-100-reviews/5860) to follow the updates about the progress.
