# Remove Close (X) button

Currently it can be hidden via CSS code only:

```auto
.eapps-countdown-timer-bar-close{ 
display: none; 
}

```

Please add settings for it into the widget.

Friends, this request is now marked as **‘Planned’** , which means we’re currently exploring possible development options, so it’s on our radar 💪🏻

Please note that we can’t provide any specifics at this stage, as we’re still in the process of estimating potential solutions. Let’s hope we’ll see it in the “In Progress” status, though! 😊

Hey everyone!

Great news - now it’s possible to disable the Close button for floating layouts:

Currently, this feature is available only in the widgets created after this release. However, the good news is that we can manually update your existing widgets on our end 🙂
