I currently have a fairly long timeline and would like my modal popup to open directly where the user is. I have tried some of the solutions from other posts, but they are not working in Google Sites. I read that Google Sites, unfortunately, performs differently because it turns it into an iframe.
Is there anything I can do at all besides using a different solution? My timeline is a resume, and it is located here: Teresa M Potts - Dynamic Resume
Please let me know. I am going to a conference on Saturday, August 9th, and will be having people go to my webpage. #GoogleSitesIsTheNewIE6

Catched this behaviour as well on my device. Let me take this to our devs to see what can be done. I’ll notify them of the urgency, so let’s hope I get back to you soon with the great news
Just heard back on the request. Our devs tried a couple ways of moving the Timeline popup to the viewport, however, the iframes Google Sites puts on each element restricted us to do so. I really hope that such a peculiarity of the CMS won’t affect your experience with us that much
Please let me know if there’s anything else I can do for you – I’ll be happy to!
