# Make form completion required to start the chat

This feature would:

- Collect the user’s name, email address and phone number before chat starts

- Help our team follow up with users after conversations if needed

- Allow us to provide better support and communication

- Improve safeguarding and security

- Help track enquiries and support requests

- Make it easier for Deaf users to receive ongoing accessible support

The form should be simple with a clear button to continue into the chat after details are submitted.
