I’ve been trying to embed a custom iOS install prompt in an Elfsight popup using a remote script from a tool similar to scarlet iOS profile installers. The popup shows up fine, but Safari seems to block the link execution or download initiation unless it’s triggered by a native UI event.
Has anyone dealt with embedding iOS profiles or app-like install links using Elfsight’s tools? I’m particularly looking to replicate behavior where a user clicks a button in the popup, and a download or config prompt appears—without getting blocked.
Would appreciate any ideas or workarounds you’ve found!
