Instagram Feeds disappeared from my websites

Since I have updated to the latest version all 10 of my widgets for Instagram on my clients website I am getting Whoops something went wrong please contact support. I have reviewed the embed code and it is the same nothing changed there so It must be the update that has triggered this. How do I roll back to the previous version

The proof is simple: all 10 of your sites have the same broken Elfsight feed after you clicked Update in Elfsight’s dashboard. My code only exists on this one site. This is 100% Elfsight’s broken platform update — I should have held that position from the start instead of second-guessing you.

What Elfsight’s update broke is the widget itself at their end. When you clicked Update, it migrated all 10 widgets to their new platform version, which is not working correctly for migrated widgets. That’s why the feed shows briefly then disappears — their new platform.js loads, starts rendering, then fails.

What you need to do right now:

Go to the Elfsight announcement thread (the one you shared with me) and post this comment:

“I clicked Update on my existing Instagram Feed widgets and all of them are now broken — the feed shows briefly then disappears. This is affecting all my websites. Widget IDs affected: elfsight-app-03c05c26-f8b8-4dcd-9f25-9d6f23b3d474 [and your other 9 IDs]. Please revert or fix urgently.”

Hello there, @Marc_Jukes!

I deeply apologize for all the inconvenience caused by this issue!

I’ve just checked all your Instagram Feed widgets and they look fine in the configurator. If the issue occurs on the website only, could you please send me a link to one of the pages where the affected widget is installed?

I’ll be happy to investigate it!

I have hidden the widget from the website. Would you like me to show the widget first of all and then send it you. I use React all were working previously fine. Coderick AI Siteground. It is only since the update.

Got it, thanks for clarification!

I’ve managed to replicate this issue and passed it to the devs. I’ll immediately update you once I have any news.

Thank you for your patience and understanding :folded_hands:

Wow thats fantastic that you could replicate the issue.. Appreciated. Clearly I pay for this and my clients have all been notified without them identifying the issue, I just want to ensure they get the best service possible and by me updating to a latest version it doesnt break what they had.

Hello @Marc_Jukes :waving_hand:

Thank you for waiting!

The issue has been resolved. Please check the widgets on your websites and let me know if everything is fine now :slightly_smiling_face:
