- **Issue description:** We’ve only recently integrated the AI chatbot, and we’re seeing quite a high number of views for the bot within the Elfsight backend. These numbers are significantly higher than all other metrics, such as Google Analytics for the site itself. This figure also seems relatively unlikely. Has anyone else experienced this?

Hello there, @Sonke_Neise

The Google Analytics and other analytics tools measure views differently from Elfsight, so some difference in the numbers is expected. There are also several other reasons why your widget may be counting more views than expected, which we’ve covered in our article: [Why my views have gone so fast](https://help.elfsight.com/article/592-why-my-views-have-gone-so-fast).

If you still believe there’s a significant discrepancy between the views reported by Elfsight and your actual website traffic, please send us a screenshot of your **pageviews** statistics. The screenshot should include data for **all pages** with the **total clearly visible.**

You can find this data in Google Analytics under **Reports → Life Cycle → Engagement → Pages and Screens:**

Please let me know if this explains things or if you have any questions left 🙂

Hi Max,

That’s exactly what I meant, and that’s exactly where I looked. Since integrating the chat, I’ve seen 56 pageviews in GA4, but according to the Elfsight backend, there are over 1,500. Now, it’s certainly possible that GA4 is filtering out specific traffic from bots and the like, but the number would still be too high. Especially since it’s a B2B site that never gets a lot of traffic.
