# How to create flexible discounts in the calculator formula

**Not sure how to have the calculator apply these discounts:**

If two values are selected, a discount of 10% is applied. If three values are selected, a 15% discount is applied. If four or more values are selected, a 18% discount is applied.

**I used the Ai calculator generator and it didn’t work:**

IF(SUM({{a1b2c3d4}}) EQUAL 2, {{d5e6f7g8}} \* 0.1, IF(SUM({{a1b2c3d4}}) EQUAL 3, {{d5e6f7g8}} \* 0.15, IF(SUM({{a1b2c3d4}}) \>= 4, {{d5e6f7g8}} \* 0.18, 0)))
