# How to change Page URL on Squarespace

To change Page URL on Squarespace, you can follow quick steps.  
Note: Changing Page URL can affect SEO.

**#1.** First, hover on the page that you want to change the URL and click on the **Gear** icon

**#2.** Next, on **General** , you can change your new page URL at **URL SLUG** and click **SAVE**

**#3.** After changing the URL, you can consider redirecting the old url to the new url in URL Mapping to avoid SEO.

Access **Settings \> Developer Tools \> URL Mappings**
