Hide results until form completion

Thank your comment, @user30640, and welcome to the community! :waving_hand:t2:

I’m afraid we don’t have an option to hide results now, but I’ve moved your suggestion to the thread with a similar request so that you can follow the updates

However, there is a workaround that will help you implement this use case right away: Calculator: How to hide results until the form is submitted

Hope it worked!

I want to capture lead data before giving them results.

This idea is already on the Wishlist, and I’ve merged your comment with it. If this idea gets more traction, we’ll try to consider it in the future updates.

The good news is that we have a custom workaround for this case. Please check this post to see how you can do this  - Calculator: How to hide results until the form is submitted

We use the Calculator for providing an Estimate for services for users. We would like them to submit their contact information before they are able to receive the estimate.

I am glad to say that this idea already exists and I’ve merged your comment with it. If more users support this request, we’ll try to consider it in the future.

The good news is that we have a custom solution for you. You can either hide or blur the calculation results before the form submission:

Please check these guides and let us know if the suggested solutions worked

I think simply adding a Phone Number and/or Email field to the ā€˜Build’ field options (they already exist in the ā€˜Lead Form’ field options) and then allowing it to be toggled as a required field so that it would have to be filled out before showing the quote–would suffice for most people asking for this feature.

I know other widgets have Phone Number and Email fields in the ā€˜Build’ field options, so I can’t imagine this would be difficult for the dev team to implement.

Wow Drew, what a smart idea! We’ve only been asking for this for over a year now, but i guess inventing the wheel took much longer than a year and this is basically rocket science, so I guess we wait…

Hey there, @Drew_S_Davis :waving_hand:

I couldn’t agree more with @Noah_Beard - that could be just an awesome workaround. Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts!

We’ll have your suggestion in mind when considering the idea. As soon as we have any news, we’ll update you here right away :slightly_smiling_face:
