# Forms: How to pre-fill form fields using widget's API

Unfortunately, the dynamic pass of the values in multistep forms isn’t supported now, but we have this idea on the Wishlist - [Pre-fill questions in multistep Form based on previous answers](https://community.elfsight.com/t/pre-fill-questions-in-multistep-form-based-on-previous-answers/55885)

As for the external variables, I guess we have a solution. Please check it out
