Event Type Filters with an Integrated Google Calendar

I’m hoping for a solution to filtering by Event Types with an integrated Google Calendar.

We have 11 sports at our small school and there is one main Google Calendar that has to be updated for various reasons. To reduce the number of places where changes have to be made, I want to point everyone to this central calendar. Elfsight has made this GCal look great, but not being able to filter by Event Type (i.e., Varsity Football, Middle School Volleyball, Track & Field, etc.) is a huge downside.

Is there something I could put into the descriptions in GCal that would help me reach a solution? Does anyone have a workaround you’ve found that does the same job?

Unfortunately, there is no way to assign event types to the events imported from the Google Calendar. We already have this idea on the Wishlist, feel free to upvote it - Assign event types to Google Calendar events.
