I see the output is always based on the values given in the fields and we can not link that to product price or a metafield. I’d like to make the calculator pick up those values from metafield of the price for each product automatically
Hi there @user14790 ![]()
Great idea, thanks for sharing! Let’s see if it gains traction with other users ![]()
For a finance calculator .. to take a value from a product page in shopify .. ie price or other tag on that item.
Will populate a finance calculator to suggest potential payments for a lease of equipment.
Quick instruction:
Open the dropdown above to choose the appropriate category, ex., Wishlist → Event Calendar
Share your use case and provide as many details to support your idea as possible. Thank you!
The reason for this, is so that customers can see instantly a potential price of a piece of equipment without having to enter a price .. the price is already on the page and they may not already know APR and other fees that are associated … we want to make it easy
Hi there, @Richard_Andrews and welcome aboard ![]()
Thanks for sharing your suggestion with us!
We already have a similar idea on the Wishlist. I’ve merged your comment with the existing request, where we’ll keep you updated ![]()
Id’really love to have this feature made available, as @Richard_Andrews mentioned, it would add a ton of value to the calculator and for customers if they can see by default what the actual cost price is but also the possible monthly APR fee. Also\, the aggregated/cumulative price if more than one products are selected.
Thanks!
Lars

A copy of our use case from another topic - in the hope it’ll gain some more votes:
We would need the calculator to receive the pricing data of the product page / cart total as a starting point to calculate the loan details (amount, interest, monthly payment). Please find an example below.
A customer comes to our webshop and visits the product page of our floor drawer module offer.
In the example the price of the the product is stated as € 2.548,84.
As a placeholder, we set the loan amount by default at € 2.500 in the widget. But the loan amount can range from € 1.000 to € 15.000.
So we like to request to have the (aggregated total) price of the product or the cart to be send ánd displayed in the calculator widget so the customer doesn’t have to adjust the widget manually.
The value in having this solution (for a ton of use cases I’d reckon), that the customer already receives a tailor made financial lease offer at the page or shopping cart! How awesome is that!?
To summarize, I think the widget needs the functionality to receive a webhooks ilo sending them.
Plus, this will also solve the myriad of custom, platform specific integrations to be developed as most e-commerce platforms include a webhooks functionality.
In the sincere hope that the matter will be picked up soon, I thank you all again for voting!

@Max, could you please add “webshop” or “shopping cart” to the subject of this topic? I’m sure it’ll attract more views. Thanks! Lars
