We’re using the Google Calendar integration to display a community wide calendar. The users of our community calendar would like a layout that displays the next 12 months of events on a single page in the calender view.

They want to be able to filter it to only display 2 different Event Types. It would be used for annual event scheduling & planning (to avoid things like 2 orgs hosting big fundraising auctions in the same month).

There may already be a way to do this. Right now, I’m considering creating & displaying 12 different shortcodes that filter for the event types & the date range for the corresponding ‘time from today’.

But I can’t figure out how to filter on multiple event types or how to format the filter for date ranges (ex. ‘60 days from today - 90 days from today’ or ‘2 months from today’ or whatever logic works).

Thank you for sharing your wisdom, experience, or suggestions!

Hi @Chewelah_Creative_Di, and welcome to the Community! 👋

Just to make sure I understand correctly, you’d like to display two separate calendars on the same page:

- **Calendar 1:** Sports & Recreation events from October 2026 through October 2027.

- **Calendar 2:** Arts & Entertainment events for the same period (October 2026–October 2027).

Is that right?

Also, would you like the date range to **update automatically as time goes by**? For example, once October ends, the range would shift to November 2026–November 2027.

Or would you prefer to keep the date range fixed?

Thank you for asking this. I’ll try to clarify. 🙂

They want to filter the entire calendar for all events with an event type of Special Events" or “Arts & Entertainment”. Then they want to display 12 months ahead on one page using the calender grid.

So, it would look something like this.

 ![monthly-calendar-of-year-2026-week-starts-on-sunday-block-of-months-in-two-columns-vertical-arrangement-simple-thin-minimalist-design-vector-illustration-2WC7M5X](https://us1.discourse-cdn.com/flex020/uploads/elfsight/original/3X/2/7/2707732fe1bb2cb5873de85aa78067e37d996a43.jpeg)

I hope that makes a bit more sense. They’re essentially asking for an at-a-glance wall calendar.

Thanks again!

I see, thanks for clarification!

Unfortunately, there is no way to implement this customization now. I am really sorry!

I’ve added this idea to the Wishlist on your behalf and if it gets more votes, we’ll try to consider it in the future 🙂

No worries. This just saved me several hours of frustration, so I appreciate that. 😄

Have a good day.
