- Issue description: I cannot seem to find a way to link directly a blog article, I see the URL slug option when creating a blog post, but I cant seem to past a link and have it go direct to the post. Anyway to do this? This is for the Blog Module
Hi there, @Jason_Gudmundson and welcome to the Community ![]()
Basically, when you click on a blog post, the post popup will open, and the post slug will be added to your website URL. You can copy this URL and share it — when someone opens it, the popup for that specific post will appear automatically.
However, I see that your widget is installed on the Google Sites website and it might not work there because of the iframes. If you’re experiencing this issue, please send me a link to the page where your widget is installed. I’ll be happy to check it with the devs ![]()
Hey there, I also tried by using the link directly rather than iFrames. The Link I am provided under Install is https://bf906cb740c346fe96c03d44c0c666f1.elf.site
Hi Max, my widget is installed at What's up Choiceland - News
I have a custom domain now so its now hosted at wucland.com/news
Hi there, @Jason_Gudmundson ![]()
Thanks for sharing links!
I checked this with our developers, and unfortunately, URL slugs won’t work correctly on Google Sites because of the way iframes are used there. Sorry about that!
As for your Share Link, the slugs are working as expected there:
So, when someone opens a link with a slug, they’ll see a popup with that specific post.
Please let me know if this clears things up or if you have any other questions ![]()
