# Change chat window height

Add the code below to Custom CSS field on your [Chat](https://elfsight.com/widgets/?category=chats) widget’s Appearance tab:

```auto
[class^="Window__Component"] {
  bottom: 50px;
}

[class^="Window__WindowComponent"] {
  bottom: 50px;
}

```

You’re welcome to change the bottom value until you reach the desired outcome.
