I would love to be able to group certain locations together for example a grouping for eye doctors, ENTs etc

This is already included in the event calendar widget.
Examples:
Filter by location type
- bank: agency, ATM only, agency + ATM, kiosk
Filter by feature
- restaurant: takeout, delivery, drive thru, in house dining, bar, outdoor patio…
Filter by location
- state, city, neighborhood, county…
Products / collection
- men, womens, accessories…
I would include both tags and dropdown as options

Hi Max - thanks for your note. By any chance is there a tentative or draft roadmap showing projected features, or perhaps a changelog showing the release of past features?
Btw, this is filter you already have in the Event Calendar App so hopefully not a stretch to port over to this widget?

We haven’t got a draft roadmap, but we do have a [Changelog](https://community.elfsight.com/c/elfsight-changelog/48) where you can keep tabs on the latest updates.
Also, you can view the updates right from your dashboard in What’s New tab:
Regarding the filtering options, you are absolutely right, this feature is already available in our Event Calendar. However, since we receive a lot of requests, we have to be selective and prioritize the most popular ones.
If this idea gains more support, we’ll make efforts to accelerate its implementation. We’ll keep you updated about any developments in this thread 😉

Just found this app… and this would be perfect with this feature.
as it stands if you have more then say 10-12 i don’t think the app is useable as it would get lost.

Hello! Keeping the conversation (and the question) alive regarding search filters for store locator. Is there any further discussion about when this might be available? Our healthcare company is looking for the right map feature to direct people to our 59 facilities. We like nearly everything about the store locator! Having a search filter would a complete game changer for us.

Thank you so much for your feedback and interest in our app!
Right now, we don’t have any news about the filter options, unfortunately. You see, we prioritize requests based on 2 main criteria: complexity of implementation and number of votes. Currently, we have a lot of requests with the higher priority and our devs are focused on them.
I’d like to assure you that we are not going to abandon this idea and hopefully, our devs will be able to include it in one of the future updates. However, it’s hard to give any predictions at this time.
As soon as we receive any news, we’ll update you here right away 🙂

this would be fantastic, for customers to sort locations depending on what they carry / function as relative to the company / product. For example, seeing which stores are super centers, regulars, small, etc.

I agree that a filter option would be a game changer for the store locator and would like to add my vote for this feature. Besides, in the app overview Store Locator is already advertised as “… on a map with smart search and filters”. However, it seems that until now there are no filters?
