Blog: Introducing categories, tags + 2 new features! 🚀

We’re super excited to announce a major release, packed with amazing new features that will take your Blog widget to the next level! :tada:

Categories

You can now create and assign categories to your blog posts, making it easier for your readers to navigate.

Categories will appear as clickable tabs above your posts. When you click on a category tab, you’ll see all related posts, creating a smoother browsing experience

Tags

Tags are here to boost your content’s discoverability! You can now add tags to your blog posts in the settings, and they’ll show up at the bottom of each post.

Clicking on any tag will take your readers to a page with all posts tagged with the same keyword, helping them find even more of your amazing content:

Blog Name and Post View

You can find these new options on the Settings tabs. Blog name feature lets you set a custom title for your blog.

With the Post View setting, you can select how to open posts: On page or In Popup

5 posts were split to a new topic: Blog image customization

Guys thanks for these new features, they’re great. I’ve been absent from my own work for a while, I’m still teaching in the classroom so much of my time is spent preparing lessons for learning challenged students. I’m just setting up my blogs now, but had a question about enabling my readers, once I launch, to subscribe to the blog and for them to receive notifications automatically. I appreciate this is usually handled by a Mailchimp or similar, but would this ever be a consideration for implementation, and if not, would one of the subscription widgets have to be used? TIA

Hi there, @Victoria_Hansen :waving_hand:

Happy to see you back again! At the moment, it’s impossible to let users subscribe to blogs, but this idea is already on the Wishlist - Subscription form to the newsletter about new posts.

Please upvote it to not miss any updates :slightly_smiling_face:
